The Amazing Highlights of Dublin Private Tour (3 hours) – €220 for Group 1-6

`

A perfect amount of time to explore the best the city centre can offer!

If you are going to do any tour in Dublin then this is the one! All of the sights are very close together in the city centre.

We will travel through time, from early Celtic times, right through to the arrival of Christianity, the Vikings, the Anglo-Normans, right up to Ireland’s independence and the present day.

I think of my tours as an adventure, both for me and you. You might get a song, a mythological story, a poem. Who knows. . . It all depends on where we end up and how the tour flows.

Let’s go on a fun, engaging and interesting journey together!

Here are some of the places we will explore

– Dublin Castle – the seat of British administration in Ireland for over 700 years. Learn about the darker side of Irish history, and visit the beautiful gardens to learn where Dublin gets its name from.

– Christchurch Area – We will explore around Christchurch Cathedral (from outside), and walk passed the Viking are of Dublin known as Wood Quay.

– Temple Bar and Ha’penny Bridge – We will visit Dublin’s tourist quarter, famous for its pubs and cobblestoned streets. We will also visit the iconic Ha’penny Bridge – Dublin’s first pedestrian bridge.

– Trinity College – the number one university in Ireland and also its most beautiful. Founded in 1592.

– Grafton Street Area – we will walk down Dublin’s most famous pedestrianised street and explore the area.

Depending on your interests and where we meet, we may also explore the GPO and O’Connell Street, the National Gallery, Merrion Square, the National Archaeology Museum, and/or St. Stephen’s Green Park.

The Amazing Exploration of Dublin Private Tour – (4 hours) – €280 for Group 1-6

The 5 Hour covers the same as the 3 Hour Tour but is aimed at those who want to continue their adventure further.

If the Highlights of Dublin are not enough, this tour allows us to explore places that may be off the beaten track. Depending on your interests we may also explore Merrion Square and Georgian Dublin, the Archaeology Museum, the GPO and Stephen’s Green Park. We also take a break halfway through the tour. You may wish to stop at a pub or a cafe.

Art, Artifacts and Parks – Private Dublin Tour (3 hours) – €220 for Group 1-6

A perfect mix of leisure and mystery as we explore the beautiful parks, art, sculpture and archaeology of Dublin.

An interesting exploration of the highlights of the National Gallery, Archaeology Museum and a short walk through two of Dublin’s most beautiful parks – Stephens Green and Merrion Square. This is a lovely, relaxing tour that never stays too long in one place.

This is a perfect tour for a rainy day, or for those who want to take their time to delve deeper into exploring less obvious aspects of Irish culture and history. You will find that these ancient artifacts and wonderful Irish paintings and sculptures will open your imagination in a way that is quite different to the more conventional walking tour. Not to mention the beautiful nature of the parks.

As an actor as well as a tour guide, I believe the mysterious aspects of our history and culture are our true treasures. This tour incorporating art, artifacts and scupltures enables us to delve deeper in that direction.

– We will only visit the highlights of the National Gallery (only paintings that are relevant to Irish culture and history), and we will visit the Bog Bodies exhibition in the Archaeology Museum, as well as explore the Treasury, which includes the Tara Brooch and Ardagh Chalice.

– We will also explore St. Stephen’s Green Park, which in itself is a journey through the history of Dublin. We will visit WB Yeat’s (one of Ireland’s greatest poets) memorial, discuss the 1916 Rising, which took place there, as well as discuss the founding of the park itself.

– We will also visit Merrion Square, and take a visit to Oscar Wilde’s statue. Merrion Square is a beautiful example of a Georgian Square with it’s many colourful Georgian doors, which Dublin is famous for.
